Abby watched me a kill a fly with a fly swatter the other day during dinner, so today she picked up the fly swatter and walked around, looking for "ants." (Wouldn't Eric flip if she found ants in our house right now?) :)
I explained how the swatter works again and exactly what kind of creature it is designed to eradicate and then I pointed to a pretend fly on the wall so she could swat it.
She looked at me very seriously after the "kill" and said, "If you see another fly, say fly."
(For those of you not tuned into Dora, throughout her shows she says things like, "We need a map! Say map!" and "Do you see Swiper? Say Swiper!")
