How Amazing Are YOU?

We were out walking with the stroller a couple of nights ago and I realized that Eric's birthday is coming mid-August.  I started ribbing him about how it's his thirtieth and then, in typical bully-fashion, looked around to see who else might join in.  "Abby," I said, "did you know that your daddy will be TEN TIMES your age next month?" 

"Wow, Daddy," she said.  I giggled, elbowing Eric so he was sure to catch on that now two of us were teasing him.  But, instead, she craned her head around to meet his eyes and shouted in wonder, "You're AMAZING!"
